Petco rescue, two tangs

If you’re getting a larger QT tank I would ensure all the above is covered:

Tank
Heater
Filter
Powerhead(s)
PVC for hiding
Bubbler
Ammonia badge
Simple light
Cover/netting of some kind.

Once all that has been met- then to build up your medication list to have on hand. I would refer to the lists @HotRocks and @Humblefish have provided previously in their write ups.

After that maybe aim some funds towards rescuing other fish to continue to pay it forward.

Maybe find a tank you could upgrade to so you could hang onto one of these guys you’re rescuing.
I think I have every medication they have listed at this point except general cure and I'm almost out of the triple sulfa. I'll probably see if I can pick up some 15 gallon tanks for qt whenever petco has their sale again (it would make dosing easier if I could fill them with 10 gallons of actual water volume). The only other things I'll probably need to get for proper qt tanks are another sponge filter to leave in my sump to populate bacteria, a couple small power heads, a couple small hob filters, and some more egg crate for tops

I'm sure everybody wants to see the patients this morning

Still pretty red, how many days did you run the antibiotics? I would go at least 14 days if you can
I did it based on the instructions with the meds, just 4 doses 24 hours apart. I have more if you think I should continue them

Yep, I would. Keep it going at least 10 days... but, you can go as long 14 if needed. I wouldn’t pull them yet.

Go pack! (I am from Wisconsin lol)

Well, even better watching this then!!! Born in Kenosha, graduated High School in Racine, and finally move South not long ago from the Appleton area :) Well, and the Navy years in between. Don't miss the snow though!!!

This is amazing. At the end of all this, I think it important that the we somehow recognize the folks that have been so integral in keeping these tangs alive and ensuring their future. Do we have a Good Samaritan badge?

That's awesome, I grew up in Oshkosh. I actually miss it up there
