Yeah I saw you had a tank recently break... Believe it or not it makes my heart sink when I see that.... Not just yours but everyone that had a major crash.

The Ph was a little high today (8.54) and I calibrated and checked my refractometer today and it's a tad high too (1.027). I changed 4 gallons of water today to try and bring them both down a bit and it didn't effect the Ph much. If this keeps up I will have to reduce the amount of kalk I'm putting in the mix. The green planet acro I bought Friday is looking a little beat up and worries me just a little. Either it will pull through or die I guess. I think it had to do with a ginormous alk swing recently. When I checked it was right around 6, and I have brought it back up to around 9 in the past 4 days. A couple others look a little beat up too, but they're strong ones and I see them pulling through.

Thanks! It's a very simple setup with livestock packed in there lol. It shouldn't be much longer and most of the sps will be moved to their own tank. A couple are attached to rocks and will probably remain in there, but most will be moved. I have several acan that have been sitting in frag racks just waiting to find their place in this tank. Hopefully all goes well and in about a month I will be able to transfer everything I'm wanting moved.

I had an acro arrive this morning from divers den. They put the bag in sideways and the top of the coral was out of the water. All of the tips are pretty banged up. This is not what I'm use to seeing from these guys and I'm kinda disappointed. Guess I will just have to wait and see what happens

I am dead serious - the one we FINALLY seem to have running safely (I won't be able to relax and trust it for a few weeks, after everything >.> ) is our fourth try at getting a good used acrylic tank.

Sounds like my 40.... None have broken with water in it or anything. 1 was broken while in the hands of the guy who built the overflow and sump. He messed up the overflow and I had to fix that, then the ato reservoir broke, then 2 baffles....
