PH 7.5 how to raise PH?

My advice is not to worry about ph at this point. It can’t be that low. I like api for ammonia and nitrite. Ph test not so much.

Unless you can continuously monitor ph, there not much you can do to fix the situation either.
I think Kalk can help. Not certain it arrives tomorrow :). Trying to do the most for my corals and fishes and be a good owner. :)
Is this your skimmer? You can connect the line for the CO2 scrubber where i circled. Your blue air valve is still there.

Mine has the circle disk I believe that one is slightly older model.

I feel like chasing pH leads to more problems than benefits if you don't have any obvious issues you associate with it.

Focus on the other parameters, and not pH.

How are you measuring pH?

Depending on your conditions, CO2 levels can definitely have an effect. Have you tried opening your windows for good airflow and measured an increase in pH? CO2 meters are pretty cheap too to double check levels in your home and outside.

I'd be weary of using kalkwasser or other pH boosting additives as they boost alk and if you don't need that it could cause some issues on its own. Where does your alk sit?

I use a CO2 scrubber. But I have my alk where I need it and have already verified its a CO2 issue in my home (during vacation my oH would jump to acceptable levels and when people come over it drops)
I went to the fish store they only had API kits I will try another store tomorrow

Definitely call ahead and save a potential wasted trip.

I used API but realized I always read somewhere between 7.8 and 8.0. I have a GHL unit noe for constant measuring, but there are more accurate pH kits that don't require an aquarium controller.

You could also look into pH pens that are essentially handheld electronic probes. Not as cheap as a simple test kit, but gives quick and (usually, depending on quality) accurate results.

My api is showing between 7.4 and 7.8 and it looks slightly darker then 7.4

I moved my attention to pH after having settled into parameters and wanted to increase coral growth. I've opted for non-additive approaches as it worked in my particular situation.

Definitely agree, consistent parameters outside of pH are key

If you've got corals that have been doing well, I'd venture to guess you're definitely closer to that 7.8 than you think. My API had always measured lower, but that could be my color perception skills too haha

Parameters are getting expensive haha. My

My KH and calcium have almost tripled since I started haha. It’s crazy how much is dumping into the tank right now.

I think stuff is growing but it’s hard to tell some seem like they are getting smaller and I do not know why

Mix up and test some new water. See what that gives you. Place a sample outdoors to compare atmosphere maybe. I agree with not chasing ph but 7.5 is not going to work really well.

Do you think I could run into problems using my doser as an ATO? I could fill my ATO with Kalk. Need to raise KH to 9 or 10 anyway. Kalkwasser natural PH is 12. Also bonds with C02 in reef tanks raising PH.

I have my widows Fully open in winter , lol , absolutely unessary just saying , I know everyone is looking for a good way to solve this issue , it will be figured out soon , millions of posts have pointed out that everything in the reef is thriving big time at 7.9

I place my air pump near an open window and use a small air stone to oxygenate the water. It seems to work okay. My skimmer uses a C02 scrubber as well. The last thing I would try is test for your Alkalinity. If the alk is low then raise it slowly, which will then raise your PH.

I got my PH up to little under 7.8. It looks like 7.7. I added charro small refugium in the back of the tank. I started using Kalk and using doser to dose it from ATO. Also reduced carbon dosing in half. It rose from 7.4 from last night.

I will stop dosing alkalinity dose once my alkalinity reaches 10. I think my PH will be right where I want it then.

I did research on Kalk I found calcium hydroxide raises PH the highest out of any alkalinity supplement
