Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me. I run the triton system and I was just wondering what people opinions are on the type phosphate removers they use. I currentley run rowaphos but it doesn't seem to work to well in my fluidised reactor. More particles come out of the reactor than stay in even on a slow trickle. I'm asking this question as I am starting to get quite thick Algae on rocks at the moment. I have been away on vacation for the last 10 and now this has happened. It doesn't look like gha. I also run a fudge by the way. Hopefully someone can give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

I've heard chemi pure works wonders. Can you post a picture of the algae?

I will do tomorrow when the lights are on. It will be in the morning, also I forgot to say I'm in the uk. Some products may not be available over here

Also If I use chemi cure, do I not have to keep using that afterwards to keep it under control?

As to my experience the best media is -pulsing xenia into the sump. I feed a lot and phosphate 0, no algae no bacteria, glass clean

I found in the internet that pulsing xenia the best for nutrients export for marine tank, five times better then skimmer and it is true. Caulerpa also good one if you have a lot
, no skimmer and no algae

you can get a few Fe- Iron drops per week and macro algae never go sexual and fish are very happy, they have a lot of food
