If you dont mind me asking, what did your tank crash result from?

Some way or another is was caused by sailferts flat worm exit
I have used it many times in the past without any issues and followed the directions to the letter. And. Then boom. Days later everything goes brown and Rtns faster than you can imagine. Chalices all turned grey and the flesh just fell
Apart

It was the only change to the system
In the last 30 days and have to have all types of coral die that fast it was definitely chemical. All levels checked out exactly where they always are

Wow! Sorry to hear! I have used that stuff before as well, never in display but in frag tank and in dip processes.. Did you use too much or not vacuum and change enough water after? Thanks for replying tho, I hear about tank crashes and always wonder causes so that I or we can learn in some way.. Again very sorry to hear..

Yes, I just heard that! That's awful, he's one of my favorite Pens. He looks like my youngest son and they are the same age, so that's why I have especially a soft spot for him...that and he's very talented. Its not suppose to be career threatening.

I used 2 bottles which would be good for 600 gallons or a double dose for 300 gallons. My system consists of. A 220 gal display 2 thirty gal frag tanks and a 150 gal sump. So i have about 400 gallons of water. A double dose is pretty common and inhave had friends and seen others use a triple dose. I had very few flatworms in the tank. Just wanted to get rid of them before it became an issue so no need to symphony them. Even after dosing I could maybe see 20 or 30 dead. At one point in the past I did have an outbreak that was bad and needed to syphon them before hand

I ran a lot of carbon after 10
Minutes and then did a 30% water change it wasn't until about 5 days later when everything pretty much died overnight. I keep coming back to the flatworm exit because it was the only change in the system in the last 30 days. No new chemicals. No
All swings no dead fish. No temp or ph swings. Just went downhill fast. And I can only attribute it to a bad batch of flatworm exit. Needless to say I will NEVER use another product from sailfert. This wasn't a crash do to misuse or toxins from flatworms. It wasa bad product and I won the unlucky lottery.
