Thanks. I don’t like the side on it. How it has that gate that opens and closes. My Eshopp x-160 has that and it keeps floating up and out. This might be different but don’t know if I want to take that chance. Also people said bubbles come out of the top of that lid.

Simplicity skimmers are MAP prices so either buy them second hand or use your points to get the price down. Bubble Magnus Curve 7's are very good skimmers as well and a perfect fit for a 120 gallon tank as well. I would shop around for them google them, some sites require putting the skimmer in the cart to get the best price. so it will take a little work.

Yeah I was going to suggest a Curve 7 also. I have one on my 85 gallon and it works great. AquaMaxx is also a great choice - a lot of people swear by them.

Maybe do the Bubble Magnus 7 then? I liked the Simplicity due to DC and controller but i dont really need that.

Not sure about the price in the States, I have a Nyos 160, you need to play with the height a bit to dial them in but it is silent, I sit at my desk about 3 feet from it, open stand, not a murmur!

Reef Octopus... I’ve tried others, but there is nothing even close to Reef Octopus. Always getting it done w next to zero fiddling with. So so so worth the extra $$. My opinion

How is the curve 7? I need a new skimmer for my 120 I'm switching too and have not had good luck with my BM nac5.5 but seems everyone likes the curve models
