Pimple looking things on my clownfish's face

Hi everyone, I have had a mated pair of clownfish in quarantine for over two weeks. Today I came home from work and one of them has these pimple looking things on its face. Does anyone know what this could be?

Can you get a closeup of it? Also, how large are the pimple looking things? Could just be Lympho.

I will try to get a better picture when my camcorder charges. The size is about twice as big as her eye. She has smaller ones on her face, as well. Her lips are white and her fins look a little ragged (Not too ragged) She still has a good appetite.

Sounds like a Columnaris-like bacterial infection. Does the fish's mouth look anything like this?

No. It doesn't appear to look like anything is sloughing off her lips or body. It is just strange, she was fine this morning. She ate well again this evening. I thought at first it might be aggression related, but the only time I see aggression with the other clownfish is when he knows I am in the room. I can sneak in and observe them and they aren't aggressive.

They usually aren't aggressive. I have seen them fight once in awhile. I bought them as a mated pair. The one with the bumps was a little bigger. I have seen them lock mouths once. Maybe the male wants to morph to a female? They still sleep together, and only seem to be aggressive when they know I am watching.

Could be morphing. I've seen it happen to "mated pairs" too close in size. This is why I always buy a baby clown for big mama clown.

Thanks for your help Humblefish. I have some more pictures from today. The large bump that was on her head yesterday burst and fell off. She still has something going on, however. She is eating well.

Does look like something brewing below the skin surface, looks like something I've seen on freshwater fish before but didn't know what it was. However she absolutely looks emaciated in the video, certainly putting some weight on will always help when trying to fight off some sort of virus or disease, but I truly think death is not far away.

She eats well. Any idea what it could be so that I may apply the appropriate treatment. I would like to try to keep her from death.

@ruth howard Your most recent pics looks more like a bacterial infection (I don't think it's just Lympho.) I would begin treating with a broad spectrum antibiotic such as Kanaplex or Furan-2. Or you can combine all three of these for the most effective treatment: Furan-2, Kanaplex, Metroplex. Adding metroplex to the mix will address intestinal worms (which may be why she is looking so skinny), as well as brook & uronema - two diseases common to the damsel/clownfish family.

Of those you mentioned, Melafix/Pimafix or Paraguard may help by boosting the fish's natural immune system. So use one of those if you can't find any of the antibiotics I listed. One thing you have going for you is that is a hardy species of clownfish.

I've had there bottom lips completely fall off its sad but the best thing you can do is pray and wait it out I've had all recover though but 1. The only "clownfish disease" I know of is Brooklynella. But with brook, the fish’s skin will appear to be peeling or sloughing off all over the body - not just remain confined to the face/lips. There is a bacterial disease known as Columnaris where "cotton" forms around the mouth and eats away at the fish's lips.

If that's what it's called then that's what it is just like diabetes and certain blood diseases and other thing of that nature that humans carry hereditary so do animals and in this case it's clown fish I dug deep like a year ago and found all kinds of stuff on this super common mouth and head disease in clownfish and how they are the most common to get it. But names I didn't write down to remember

My one snowflake clown that I had and didn't make it it started on his head and disappeared then showed up on his bottom lip and ate away his jaw after time he died not from the disease but because he couldn't eat with no jaw
