I just received a pair of crosshatch triggerfish on Tuesday. I had a QT setup and ready to go, but the fish ended up being WAY larger than I was told. I had them in there for 24 hours, but the tank just couldn’t handle them. I rolled the dice and threw them in the display.
The pair seems to have settled in quite well. Both eating very well. I noticed today what I guess to be a bacterial infection. I have quite a few meds on hand, but would like some advice and identifying and treating. You’re help is much appreciated.
You can see the spot behind the male’s right eye.
