I let my fish know up front before placing them in the tank. If you hurt or kill another fish you get flushed. So far it's worked out great.

Thanks, everyone! super tiny hook from Orvis did the trick. His greed and appetite worked against him. Took a few attempts. Peace in the tank has been restored!
I'd use a hook before using anything else, from what I've read it seems it's easy and can be done quickly. Glad it worked out for you. What did you do with the fish?

what did you bait the hook with? I have a Coral Beauty that I suspect is an Internationally paid assassin and may need to remove it before I try to add more fish. Every new fish I add wakes up dead in the morning.

Lol, classic comments. I have frozen LRS mix. Defrosted, picked a few tiny shrimp (mysis?), made a bouquet. Trick was making them stay on the hook, super tiny. Fish has been donated to LFS with a full disclaimer on its aggressiveness.
