That wasn’t the one we actually had in the tank. This is what she told me she got.

Better. Do NOT add nem yet as mentioned. You want a mature tank of at least 4-5 months which provide stable water conditions as anemones do poorly with changes and spikes within the tank

What he said! wait until your tank has matured! soft corals should be the first to add if you want corals.

Roger that. Maybe I’ll get lucky with those three. I know petco had just them three together. One sorta hangs out by himself but does venture around the other two. They never really face off or anything.
When clowns are very young they will hang out together just fine. When they mature, they will pair up and become aggressive to other clowns. Keep an eye out for two of them bullying the third. May not happen for a while, I don't have experience, just going from tribal knowledge.

Been loving this thread watching you basically transition from fake freshwater to proper marine. You're doing great mate, keep it up and love the updates.

Sounds like you're almost ready for coral and an anemone for those clowns when everything is stable! Happy to help if you need any recommendations for hardy/ starter corals!
It sounds like a soft corral is what I want to start out with when the time comes??

Try zoanthids or Duncan

Duncan is a favorite coral. It’s pretty tolerant for new tanks. Has excellent feeding response (it’s easy to know if it ate, it’s like a saltwater Venus fly trap) and it accepts a wide variety of food and conditions. It will grow into a nice colony if you feed it. There’s a few varieties of colors to pick from and they all are pretty durable.

Do you have a preferred site to get them at?

Slowly moving along. Enjoying the very ugly stage haha. Got a few more nassarius snails last night and a couple more live rock to make it look much better.

Real quick update. Little more rock, and finally got both of the k7 minis up. No ammonia. No nitrate. No nitrite. Salinity holding solid at 1.025. Thanks to everyone for getting me on the right track.
