Pic is of transitioning female. I have another female that looks fine but they both have white stringy poo. They are eating well too. I knows the stringy poo usually means a parasite or worm, but his skin doesn’t look good. Nothing new has been put in this tank. Any help is appreciated

White stringy poo, loss of color, eating like crazy and losing weight, when taken together are all symptoms of internal pathogens. Would you say the fish has lost weight? Looks pretty normal weight from here.

No, weight looks fine. If, it wasn’t for his skin & white poo, I wouldn’t know anything was wrong. The other female looks fine, but she has the white stringy poo too

Garlic in the food and time for PraziPro.
Anthias as well as Chromis are notorious for Uronema, a free running parasite and often treated with a formalin bath.

One thing I have done with my numerous Anthias if they have white poo is to feed pods that have “marinated” in prazi. I prefer tigeropolis (sp) for this as they are more easily seen at a distance from fish. I mix some prazi with the water the pods are in, let sit about an hour and then feed the pods. For my fish, this has helped a ton in regards to Anthias.

He eats Reef Frenzy None of them eat mysis. I had to take the original male out and put in a hospital tank. He looked fine, just wouldn’t eat. LFS said to use Prazi & furan2. He started eating and LFS took him back since the female started transitioning

If he is eating frozen, mixing the medicine with the food can work as well.

This is a good read and doesn’t take too long. Humble explains it much better than I can.

Is it safe to feed them Prazi in the main tank?
Yes, but you could lose things like feather dusters and any bristleworms that you may or may not know are in your tank. A substantial die-off of bristleworms could cause issues.

Is the light dusting on the fish particularly on the back end just an element of my phone screen or is that an accurate depiction?

Sorry, I had to feed the family.
Is there something I could watch for and/or do to offset a die off of bristleworms?

I didn’t hit “reply” when I asked about the issues, so I’m not sure if you saw it
