Be prepared for water changes. Maybe have a bottle of Prime to dose for any toxic ammonia. Ammonia test kit, ammonia alert badge.Sorry, I had to feed the family.
Is there something I could watch for and/or do to offset a die off of bristleworms?

Made new water today and made sure I have all three.Be prepared for water changes. Maybe have a bottle of Prime to dose for any toxic ammonia. Ammonia test kit, ammonia alert badge.
It really depended on the light on how bad it looked and he only looks bad on one side. His behavior never changed. He looked about the same today. I dosed Prazipro this afternoon and fed some new food the LFS gave me and he loves It.I cannot tell if that's just a reduced slime coat due to stress or other issues, or if that is brook/velvet. Has it worsened much? It looks a bit better in your updated photo to me.
Any new or worsening symptoms or changes in behavior?
Yes uronema run in both anthia and Chromis. I thought you could treat uro with Seachem General Cure since it treats for parasites. Am I wrong on this?Garlic in the food and time for PraziPro.
Anthias as well as Chromis are notorious for Uronema, a free running parasite and often treated with a formalin bath.
The treatment of choice is a 45 minute formalin bath (such as Quick Cure), followed by transfer into a new/sterile QT tank and Once in QT, it is important to do continued treatments to assure all of the parasites have been eliminated which can be accomplished by dosing soaking food withmetronidazole ( Seachem Metroplex) for 10-14 days.Yes uronema run in both anthia and Chromis. #reefsquad Help please! Dosed Prazi yesterday afternoon. I woke up this morning and ph had dropped to 7.74 and my whitetail Bristletooth tang won’t come out and eat. What should I do?
Absolutely! I just wish I knew what to do now. My Tang never misses a meal and I can’t get him out of his cave. my ph has never been this lowYou've got the best guys and gals on your thread.

The badge says it’s fine, api ammonia test is debatable. the color seems to be between 0 & .25. Don’t know if I should do a small water change or add prime. The Anthias in question looks like nothing was ever wrong
Went out and bought a salifert ammonia test kit. It’s not much easier to read. It"s either nothing, <0.15, or 0.25. The seachem ammonia badge is 0, and the api is about the same as the salifert? TheI have never noticed a significant impact on pH when using Prazi. Albeit I don't use it in a display tank with an apex that has true live monitoring.
How is the oxygenation in your tank? Is the tang one of the larger fish in your tank? Prazi depletes oxygen very quickly and a fish that isn't active or hiding during a prazi treatment can indicate that the oxygen level in the water is low. So they aren't active in order to preserve oxygen. Crank you powerheads upward and get some really heavy surface tension going. Make it look like a river. See if that helps.
If you had a large bristleworm population or any other ornamental worms then the die off from dosing praziquantel could cause die off and an ammonia spike. If you have registering ammonia I would highly recommend a water change ASAP as well!
