What about cutting my whites back from 80% to like 50 or 60

If you would like to see the Dino's in a slightly bluer light sure go ahead. Lol

I you are sure that what you have is Dino's then I highly suggest a lights out. When I say lights out I mean pitch black. Like turn off the lights and cover the tank with something that will block all light kind of lights out. I think you get the point. Dino's is dang tough. I also highly recommend at least 1 other approach for me it was peroxide.

Recommended is 1 ml per 10 gallons of tank water. I dosed peroxide for a month and had 3 lights out periods (two 3 day and one 7 day) and it keeps coming back. I even upped the dose to 1ml per 3 gallons of tank water. The only thing it accomplished was bleaching several acropora.

That's my plan..... do a lights out for 3 days while uv. I have tried everything recommended for it. Manual removal, kalk, hydrogen peroxide, lights out for a week, raising nitrates.... I even plugged in my skimmer for the first time in 8 months.
How long did you dose hydrogen peroxide for? I'm battling dinos too. It sucks man....

Nvm I kept reading and found your dosage haha

Pretty much going away on its own a few strands left 80 times better than it was. Safe to do a water change with out a bounce back?

Sure just nothing crazy. Quick clean of the sponge switch carbon. Just try to add as little of anything new as possible. You don't want any reason at all for stuff to grow. Nice fresh clean new saltwater is like steroids for Dino's.
