Can everyone please post photos of your display tank, along with the size, what lights you use and what powerheads you use (I sound like a teacher). I know it sounds tedious but I really enjoy seeing the combination people use. I am going to be changing out my lights and powerheads very soon and I am just curious to see everyones setups look like as a whole. I also really love to see the placement of everything as far as rocks and coral, etc. Whether they are chaotic or simple, please post!!! I greatly appreciate it

When you put your first one, how did you attach it to the rock? For some reason, that's one coral I just can't seem to get right. Do you want it touching the rock? Or do you just lay it on the rock or?

I always say... if your tank look immaculate without blue lights, then you have done a wonderful, wonderful job! Beautiful! I really love the montipora stacking. When you put your first one, how did you attach it to the rock? For some reason, that's one coral I just can't seem to get right. Do you want it touching the rock? Or do you just lay it on the rock or?

They’ve been pretty bulletproof for me, I just glued the frag plugs to the rock like any other coral.

It's not too crazy, but I'm adding an ap9x to this soon which will be crazy the ai primes have direction to them with the hanging kit. the 360's can only sit flat.

This has a piece of black acrylic on the front to block the light spill. And the wires hide ontop so it's a little nest up there its not usually seen, I also have 5 120mm fans running on a temperature control.

Innovative Marine SR60. Using ReefBreeders Photon v2 36”. Nero 5 and Tunze 6040 wavemakers. Standard pumps that came with the tank as well.

I also am in that bight green algae stage, its the precursor to coralline so I am stoked lol I don't use the best lights even tho the ones I use are doing really well for my tank; I use the solarmax H.o, not gonna lie..cheap lights but as soon as I put that on top of the tank - I saw a lot of changes! I like the lot a lot, but I know I can do better so I am shopping around. I also use another light called the coralife but I only use it for the blues so I have that set to strictly all blue. I have a 40g breeder. I hang the blues directly above the tank and the solarmax I have about 6-7inches above the tank. My mushrooms seem to really love this light. Love you set up though! The montipora, the green, how did you first get it to start up? Did you just lay the piece on top of a rock?

Yeah thats a season's greetings montipora it grows like a weed now but started it on the edge of the rock kinda overhanging, it grew that way it seems quality led fixtures grow better corals and colors, but as soon as you think that , there's a hundred tanks that can prove that wrong. For me getting lighting under control takes away one variable I don't want to worry about.

Ty. Just some glue and live rock. When I first set up system. Has evolved a lot since.
