The antennae of a eunice is smooth. Check out the edging on that one weird antenna. Look at all those projections. That's not a Eunice antennae.

No need to apologize! I definitely noticed the jagged edges on the one antenna, it stands out because the other antenna do not have it.. they're totally different.

It appears that this worm is either living in the sand, or its living in a rock and its hole it's just above the sand line. The tank is a 20 gallon Innovative Marine and the reef consists of 4-5 rocks.. of course the worms rock is the largest. I can remove it, but then what?

I wouldn't tear apart your tank to get him out. If it's easy, sure. Then you can get some better pictures, but if it's not... keep catching video and pics and see if we can't figure it out from a far. I'm going to keep looking for stuff through some books.

That looks alot like a local eunice species here in texas!! I had a problem with one eating my cerith snails. They tend to hang out in the rock and in crushed shell substrate not in the sand. Lets get a better view. Where did you get your rock and substrate? Can you entice him out with food?

I dont know if iphone is your only option but see if you can't use a high shutter speed with the flash. It will scare the bejeesus out it, but if your very patient with the technology you can probably get a picture with flash. They key is to not get frustrated. Alot of photographers take thousands of shots to get 1 or 3 that they keep.

Cut a section of an orange pill bottle and use it to filter the blue out. Works great. Not as good as the gel filters you can get from Mark but pretty close.

Could that just be the pixel resolution from being zoomed in that far?

If you have an old see through orange prescription bottle lying around, you can cut it and use it as a filter to make the pictures SO much clearer and take the blue out. Doesn't work as amazing as the gel filters you can get from Mark (search for Gel Filter Phoneography For Saltwater Aquariums (Cell Phone Photography) on Facebook) but it works good enough to get pictures of nasties until you can get some filters. My phone takes amazing photos when my whites are on without a filter. When the blues & violets are on, pictures works better with a filter.
