LOL, you don't just "let them die".
You have to try really hard to kill these coral.

I mean, im not going to remove it from the tank and let it dry if i want to remove it

Update:

I have started dosing potassium nitrate at 0.5ppm per day.

After 2 days i now have a reading of 0.5ppm nitrate.

(Targeting 1ppm for now since its never even been this high before, probably 5ppm long term but going to get there slow)

This is the first time i have had a non zero nitrate reading in this tank. So far no effect. So lets see what happens…

A couple days ago i also moved the pocillopora to an area of higher flow and lighting intensity. It doesn’t look any different there. But it seems as happy as usual, just no colour on the skeleton!
