I just also clean from that one corner and I randomly turn the powerheads to blow crap around

Glad to know I'm not the only one having this problem with acropora corals , I even switched salt and have the same problem so idk what's wrong

I think you need to give the corals more nutrients.

I have plenty of flow , I have tunze and hydor wave makers all over the tank ,there are no dead spots....

I had no dead spots either, plenty of flow. Now my SPS are getting blasted, and PE like never before.

My PE went from very underwhelming to super amazing when I increased flow. I was using twin MP10s maxing out at about 85% in my 45g shallow (36x24x12"), and I never had much extension. Since I added a Gyre xf230 to the equation (maxing out at 40%), polyp extension has exploded...

I have a cube 24x24x24" and use a gyre 130 50-60% speed 30 second pulses. and a old mp20 ( wide flow as a mp40 but lower minimum speed)reef crest 50-60% max speed. The mp20 made a huge difference for me in the form of PE.
I spot feed once to twice a week reef roids second time is usually the day of or day before I do a water change.

I would play with flow and lighting. If you are keeping up on water chemistry and don't have fish nipping light and flow are all that's left.

Same old ,still no polyp extension, picked up a pc rainbow and a walt disney frag about a week ago, they have already encrusted to my live rock and shown growth ,I've seen polyps on the pc rainbow but that's it ,they still only all extend at night...

And I also picked up a fox flame , it has encrusted also answer shows extension only at night ,so idk what is wrong
