Poseidon's NEW Adventure! ;)

Added 3 more frags last night:

1) Forest Fire Digi
2) Montipora Setosa
3) Yellow somethng... LOL. This looks like a "Hawkins" but yellow instead of blue/green. The frag is tiny, some might call it a "Fra". LOL

That lil yellow something is super hot.... I know what your talking about. ;)

Minor update, water change done! 20 gallons of RC.

Added 6 more fuzzy sticks, this batch includes:

1) Blue Tort
2) Hawkins
3) Tri color Validia
4) Bird of Paradise
5) Blue tip Stag
6) Another stag type coral, not sure the name.

All are fresh cuts, and are "resting" on the sandbed for tonight, I'll place them tomorrow. (I have a particular spot in mind for the Tort, especially!)

Gettin' there Marv, there are a few pieces left to get... these are all small frags, but the fun is watching it all grow in. :)

I am looking for a frag of this....

It was called a red/white/blue milli when I bought it from Raptor many years ago. I know it was a great frag for me at frag swaps, I am hoping that someone still has it and can cut me a frag!

Way your goin Mike I might have to come over ur place with the cutters before you come to mine LOL

I had my first "bump in the road" last night. The DIY Kalk reactor leaked, a lot. Turns out the output had some dried calk blocking most of the drip, causing much more pressure then the epoxy could handle, which separated the fitting from the cap.

Got out the carpet cleaner, and sucked a couple gallons of water out of the carpet. :(

The good news is the failure did not add a large amount of kalk to the system or even fresh water, the tank was at 1.025 just like it is supposed to be. I'll make a refined DIY Kalk reactor soon.

sorry to hear man. :( :(

Glad to hear all is well. I've had that happen on my kalk reactor but was not as fortunate as you.

Ya. This was my first ever kalk reactor failure. I guess I was due.

Me too Chris! I am going to make some refinements, and move the output to where I can see it/clean it weekly, that should keep it from happening again.
