Possible Earthquake This Weekend

Yea i heard that the moon will be its closest in 823 years and it so happens that it will be a full moon. Some scientist are claiming this but the prrof that they have is very far fetched. It will be very bright sat night. Scientist claims, im referring to earthquaks volcanos erupting tidal swells and such

Thats so true. The last one was in 2005 I believe. Weird things happen during this celestial event...the freaks come out!!!

Yea, my preachers daughter is an astronomer who studies out of Washington(state),she and some other astronomers predicted the earthquake/tsunami that hit Japan about 1 month before it happenned and they also said it would be followed up by another one b4 March 19(this saturday),all of this is happenning because the moon is going to be so close to the Earth this saturday and the gravity is kinda getting wacked out.....

Wow that was pretty interesting. Whether this is true or not,I hope you guys out west are ok.

I really hope if there is one its not that bad or in a relatively unpopulated area. I also hope everyone reefs are ok. I'm a lil scared of going to the MAX show now. lol

Good luck guys...Mike you can ship all of your goodys over here to the east coast!

That is very interesting about the moon being closer, but I don't think the moon is typically involved in earthquakes. Any links to info on this? Sounds interesting, just think Earth is able to create earthquakes on her own through the moving of tectonic plates. The moon is slowly getting farther away from Earth, and used to be much closer and thus quite larger in the sky. It seems like there would be lots of info on changes in earthquake frequency and intensity over time coinciding with the distance between the earth and moon. In case I am wrong, best of luck to all my friends and everyone else on the West Coast!

I lowered my over flow box to compensate for the swaying of water in my tank. Thats ust a precaution.

I looked at my tank and cant think of anything I can do. So I ran for my cellphone and made reservation to a fancy restaurant for my wife and I. Time to live it up.

According to Nat Geo it is possible but no direct evidence.

Can the Moon Cause Earthquakes?
