Possible Fluke Contamination

Went thru smthg similar w my tank. Unfortunately catching the fish to remove to QT wasnt so easy. I had returned home from a short trip to my DT losing fish daily. Im still trying to catch the survivors. The ones i did remove contaminated the entire QT tank as well. All of my clown survived. 3 chromis & a Diamond goby as well... if i started the list of what i lost we would all be crying...

That's good to know! Thanks 4FordFamily!
I am going to do my best to save the clownfish. :(
And hopefully leaving the tank fish-less for the 8 or so weeks will eradicate whatever is going on so this does not happen all over again :(.

Thanks again everyone for your quick replies and close attention to my thread! :) Glad to be apart of this community! :D

I'm sorry to hear that RT2! I can relate to how devastating it is to lose fish! :(
What did you treat the survivors with?

I havent treated he DT.. dont want to run the risk of losing coral i guess. What i found after a few days was my heater had unexplainably fallen into the water and from stress im thinking i was dealing w multiple issues. I did get several into QT but copper/prazi didnt work for what inwas dealing with. But i will say the ones i was able to remove from DT were probably past the point of saving... i just couldnt not try. I also did the metro/kana/furan 2 mix as well but nothing. And even stranger that it in turn affected healthy fish in my QT. First time dealing with it myself so i was learning on the go... lost fish that ive had for 15yrs! I wanted to take a sledgehammer to my tank

The remaining fish are not affected by it, but i know it needs to go fallow before i add back to the tank. Frustrating... i have no idea how to even begin to catch the chromis and diamond goby. My clowns will just about swim into my hand
