Possible outbreak?

It wouldn't have been Ich on the glass, it's not visible like that. My angler died with it. I knew he had it and it was mild and was coming and going. One day it was worse and I thought "perhaps I better tre...... *plop* ...... dead. o_O

Have ou added any coral or live rock. You can add desises into system that way also

Nope, coral free tank and have had the same live rock in there since the begining.

What are the more obvious pinpoints of ich? Just so I can make sure I know what I'm up against. I think the white things I see are copepods, they're usually plentiful on my live rocks corraline. Was it the tang being cut and stressed that triggered the outbreak?

You can see a few ich spots on my angler when I first got him.... this is what it would look like at first.

What you see on your glass and rock are pods.

Oddly enough, my angler always seemed to have white spots on him. I had a black angler so the white spots stood out. I guess the parasite laid dormant in him?

So the pods are beneficial or neutral I take it?

And with my current stock(SFE, urchins and starfish), what is the best way to treat? I know nothing copper based will be tolerated. Can the uch parasites survive with the eel in there?
