36 TDS at tap (personal well)
3 TDS after RO
0 after DI

Changed the RO membranes from 150 gpd to 300 gpd in May 2023. Pressure went from around 90psi to 55psi. Need to upgrade the Aquatec pump for more pressure.

Great thread!

33 tds in Lincoln, CA in the foothills of the Sierra 90 min below Lake Tahoe.

You are testing only cold water right? Letting it run for a bit?

But don’t government regulations hurt small business and cost jobs?
(I’m from Cleveland, we run our cars using fresh river water) :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I remember when the Cuyahoga river caught fire :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: well I guess it wasn't really funny but I'd rather laugh than cry.
I'm. In Ashland county OH with rural water TDS 160ish 3-4 after membrane and 0 after di
For you kids that don't remember and others who didn't hear about it

NYC, 30-40 tds out of the tap. 0 before the membrane & obviously 0 after the 2 di cartridges. Would I ever have to change the membrane?

Metro Orlando.....Water here is getting better. Couple years ago it was coming in a bit over 200. I had a whole house filter installed the other year and at the time it was only coming in at 114 just before the install. Now I get my RODI water off a line after the whole house so it only gets 3-5 TDS entering the filter. I do however have to run a bypass on the water conditioner unit (alternative softener) as it binds hard water and raises phosphates in the process.

Might as well chip in . We are usually at around 300 from the tap, between 3 and 7 after my RO filter (usually 5-6) and 0 after the DI. I change my RO filter when I see 7 at the output. I gotta do it soon! My DI resin usually lasts around 300-400 litres then I gotta change it. I bought a 25 KG bag for about £100.

We are in Hertfordshire UK.

Caddo Mills TX, 180 to 280 depending on the time of year, 5 or 6 after filters and RO, that goes to the drinking water tank. Then 0 after a final DI cartridge.

I'm curious what TDS readings other people have on their tap and RO membrane.
Please post your city (or nearest city for privacy) and your TDS from your tap and after your RO membrane. Bonus for pics of your RODI system. I'll start:

I live in the Phoenix valley. City water. It's currently 586 out of the tap, 10 after RO membrane, 0 after DI.

I get zero to 1 and as cartridges age I change at readings of 3-4

Middle Tennessee spring water: 50 to 60 going into the filter, 0 out.

I am on well/bore water and the locals dont even drink it... So I buy NonMin drinking water in 19ltr bottles it has ZERO TDS and cost $1.50usd per bottle. Other major bottled water brands "Aqua" has 237TDS and Cleo 17TDS..

I'm in Charleston SC area. City water is reported to be 85-89 TDS. I have a 5-stage brs with 1 TDS out of membrane and 0 out of DI. Important thing to note is my membrane is over 3years old. I change sediment approximately every 6 months, carbon filters once a year, and DI resin 2 yr. I have a 150g tank and believe in WC so it gets used.
