I found a place that has live black worms. He is eating that. Hasn't eaten anything else so far. I actually got to see him up close for a few minutes today ! I don't want to feed black worms in my DT. Hopefully he will eat from the rocks in there.

How is your angel? Just noticed my 5 days home potter isnt eating frozen... both cuisine and mysis. Trying algae with garlic sheets tonight. I def dont want it to start eating my corals. Im hoping it will eat frozen food soon so I dont have to feed 3 diff foods in this tank!

Some fish just go on a hunger strike but I have noticed that live black worms are usually great at getting them to start eating again. I have had fish in qt that didn't eat for over 3 weeks regardless of what I fed but as soon as I fed blackworms they would start to go crazy chasing them and eating them. give it a shot and hopefully he would start eating and then mix the frozen in slowly with the worms during the feedings.

Very sad day. Potters went through all the difficulty in QT. Started eating like champ after starting with live blackworms. Was in DT for a month no aggression from tank makes and one day he just disappeared. No sign of him.

oh no, sorry to hear! hopefully is just hiding.
I had the same thing happen to me with a flame. went through a full qt and was fat and health in the tank for over 6 months with no issues at all and one morning I found it dead stuck to the overflow strainer. the only thing I can think of is that night the kids were away so all the house lights were off where usually the hallway light is on providing a little glow of light for the tank. I think it might have gotten spooked and bumped into a rock or something in the pitch darkness maybe. I have since put in a couple of blue led lights that provide a little glow at night to serve as moon light.

I'm still hoping he's hiding but I doubt it. At least you found the body! I just cleaned and put my QT in storage too. I thought I was done.
