Powder Brown Tang has Dark Splotches

Was told that this is normal but I would like some more opinions.

Looks like stress or coloration when lights go off. Camouflage colors are common in these cases.

If you can post pictured under full whites when lights are on tomorrow that would be great. I agree this is probably just because the tank is dark.

Okay because my lights haven’t come in yet and I’ve had the tang for about a week now and this is the first time I’ve seen this so I was pretty worried.

I have some api melafix on hand. Would that work? It is the freshwater one but says it can be used for saltwater too

That stuff is pretty weak. I would QT, and treat with the trifecta: Kanaplex + Metroplex + Furan-2

I went ahead and bought a 20 long for a qt and ordered some furan 2 which will be here tomorrow. Do I need the other two because Amazon says it will take till Tuesday to get them here? Should I just start the furan by itself and see if it helps and if it doesn't order the other meds?

So today he seemed to be deteriorating and I decided to do a fw dip and followed the directions on humblefish's thread. After about 2 minutes these white things started showing up on his body and falling off. I searched it up and its apparently flukes. How should I continue treatment? Should I continue the Furan-2? FW Dips every 24 hours? Some other med?
