For the qt tank? No I have not.

You should definitely start there. Sometimes it is the most simplest thing that ends up being the problem.

Yup. Ammonia is at 0.25. I’m doing a 50% water change but I fear it’s too late. Worth a shot though

Meds can be stressful so I'd administer half recommended dose now and the remainder in the AM. Retest water to ensure all looks accurate after your water change. I usually test approx one hour after I complete a water change so parameters have settled in.

Can I do this with all fish? The next fish I’m gonna get is a dwarf angel. I purchased a tomini tang today and didn’t fw dip because I’m gonna dose the entire dt with prazi tomorrow.

I find it always best to FWD initially after proper drip acclimation because is if they do have flukes present for example, Prazipro causes the flukes to seizer and fall off/die, which can be painful for the fish and can cause skin/eye damage. The dip when prevent this from happening. It also provides temporary relief in the scenario that the fish has something more severe such as velvet or brook, giving the specimen a head start when medications are being administered.

Yes bulk up your arsenal of medications. Here is what I have in my cabinet.

- Seachem Cupramine, Paragaurd, metroplex, kanaplex, neoplex, and focus
- PraziPro
- API General Cure, and Furan2
- Methaline Blue
- Reef Rally
- fenbendazole

Also good to have PRIME or Amquel in case you're in a pinch.
