Powder brown tang

@domination2580 Have you treated for parasites or flukes yet?

If not, I would FW dip him to check for flukes.
Agreed....I unfortunately have not yet, I started out with copper since I know the enviroment it came from had ich or velvet, they went through a ruby dip then to copper

Ok bout to do the freshwater dip, should I put it in another tank and treat with prazi then start the copper over again on the tang?

Freshwater bath done, might not have made it....he is in holding tank barely moving and slow breathing...will have to see how he does later tonight. No flukes came off of him

:/ I'm wondering if that's some internal bleeding injury or something

Well he didn't make it past 2 hours....he passed... ugh....the effort I did to try to keep him going....

Sorry for your loss. If it was an internal infection, those are very difficult to treat. :(

How would a person go about treating them though? I'd rather try then leave one to die from one...

Food soak an antibiotic like Kanaplex, also using a binder (Seachem Focus) to prevent the med from leaching out. But you have to catch it very early on or it needs to be a mild infection. Once symptoms show through the skin, it is usually too late. :(

IMO there's really nothing you can do at that point :(
