Walmart doesn't sell copper. Either does Petco. I went through all of the same crap a month ago. I lost 2 Kole Tangs and 1 Sailfin Tang over ICH. It is very discouraging.
i leave mine there for atleast a week to make sure they are eating, healthy, and so that it minimizes being trasnported several times within a short time frame... they actually allow this to help us
Thats pretty much what happen. Ok i my midas is in the second day on meds and all his spots are gone but im gonna leave him there till the 3rd day cause thats what the bottle said also he is swimming with not hesitation and not bumping into anything and he is eating. Now my question is how can i add him to my tank without contaminating my tank water with the treatment. Will that little bit of water that gets to the display would hurt anything. By the way the meds i got is call quick cure and they sell it at wallmart and it works this fish was in bad shape he was banging all over the rocks and drop to the sand not moving with rapid gill movement.
One more crazy thing happened today. When i got home today i notice that my sailfin tang does not have any spots and this fish was cover in white spot yesterday
Part of the ich cycle is that the cysts are only visible on the fish for a few days. Then drop to the sand bed to multiply. It's still there in the gills. The visible part isn't permanent. They will reappear
