Was at 2ml with the 20 drops twice a day now at 1ml with 10 drops twice a day

I'm not quite sure the Acropower is causing that, I'm having a nutrient PROBLEM with everything being too low at 3 ml a day on my 60 gallon. Maybe some other can chime in, I haven't heard of any problems with cyano and the product though hmmmm interesting

Cut your dosage in 1/2 and see if you still have the nutrient problem.

Nitrate are at zero phos is at .09 I know it's the ap had the same issue when I was using brightwell amino when I would up the dose I would start to see cyno.

Joined the bandwagon. Dosing 5ml a day in a 90. Started 3 days ago

I have a 60 cube, dosing 2ml a day for about a month and a half now with no problem. I don't think Acropower creates nutrient issues but thats jus MO. In the other hand, I've never been a fan of overdosing anything, actually I'm the opposite, I usually start with half of recommended and slowly ramp up the recommended dose levels, always looking for signs on the reef. So far so good.

So, my eye is sorta glowing =P jk. I left for a 1 1/2 week vac, and everything was looking great. My LE purple planet turning into Red planet with green base >.>, and my UC Berry having great PE. Since I just got back sunday, my Red planet look brown now, but my Straw berry is coloring up. So, I need to get back on my dosing, and all my status are all of whack.

I've started using oyster feast 10 minutes before adding Acropower for a little over a week now. My corals have totally started to explode in growth!

This increases no3 like crazy! Contains a lot of no3 inside.
Interesting, because this happened to my RSM, too. Do you normally have a nitrate reading? I usually have between 10-15ppm in the RSM and when I tested tonight, they were over 40. I have also dosed my other tanks for the past couple of weeks that have 0 nitrates, and it didn't raise the nitrates in them.

What's rsm?

RSM = RedSeaMax, which is a brand/type of all-in-one (AIO) aquariums. There are a few different RSM models, and are some of the best AIOs on the market ...... or so I've heard and read. They cost a pretty penny too!

Anyone experiencing z&p taking off using Acropower? I have to start fragging them soon!

LOL I knew that I'm a dummy

Don't those come with huge black sponges? Do you still have them in there

I've seen some reports of lps taking off so I'd say it's safe to assume it has some effect on z/p's.

Nope, I took them out and added a media rack that has chemipure elite in it, and I use a piece of filter floss in the fine filter section. I've just accepted that I will always have nitrates in this tank, and I'm okay with it because all of the corals show excellent color and the fish are well fed and healthy.
I think that by adding the acro power to a reef that already has excess nutrients, just causes the nitrates to rise because they aren't needed. But, adding it to a reef that has 0 nutrients, it helps add those nutrients that are needed to keep the corals healthy. Everyone always says to keep nitrates at 0, but I have more success (better color and growth) in my tank that shows nutrients. My tanks with low or no nutrients have always had more faded coloring and I have had to add coral food.
