Would like to see some before and after photo's if at all possible? Whilst there will never be a miracle product, I was hoping this would be something a bit more than the rest of the products out there. So far it seems to me, this is no different to any other Amino Acid or similar products out there; and the results so far indicate to me the same thing.

I've been speaking to my LFS guy who sells this product and used it on this own tank. The report from him is that it didnt do much at all for SPS colours, and he didnt get any glowing reports from the well known SPS keepers who bought the product. This LFS guy I COMPLETELY trust, and he has been in the hobby for more than 30 years.

I also spoke to another reefkeeper yesterday who has a VERY large SPS tank. He said he gave up as he saw no difference.

Going through this thread I see many people have bought this, but the results arent NO WAY anything close to the ReefBuilders review.

It is a fairly inexpensive product and I can definitely see reports that it works well for Polyp Extension etc.

Same here. I'm going on 2 months now. What a surprise no miracle in a bottle. Color me shocked ;)

FWIW my nitrates are 5ppm, Phosphates 0.0 but the hanna checker's aren't super accurate.

I am not giving up yet. I will use the bottle up and I have much more to go. I did notice a bit of po4 increase and do have to clean the glass more. I really think if you have low nutrients this will help and even though I do have low I think I have enough because I do have some algae growing

Anyone experience frequent buildup on their glass from acropower?
My phosphates were sky high (0.5-0.6 using the Hanna ULR test) and I did not see a huge improvement to my acros so I stopped using it. My glass would get a brown dusting of algae almost daily. To be fair, I cannot be certain Acropower was the culprit of my high phosphates but since I never really saw any improvement on my acros, I decided to stop.

Currently experiencing that as well....only dosing .5mL per day on my 40b...I constantly have brown algae on my glass..gonna stop dosing for a week or two and see what happens

I think it will help with certain systems just not mine. I have used others that seem to work but i'm at the point of thinking nothing beats a good old water change and the best thing you can do is make water changes easy

This has done absolutely nothing. Saw no increase in polyp extension no color increase. Guessing someone who hyped it not going to mention sites name is friends with the inventor. Will not take any more recommendations from them.

Yup, three days in and three days of having to clean glass. I usually only have to clean it once or twice a week. I'm out. Another waste of $20...

So you tried for three days, saw no results, and decided it was a waste? Seems a bit quick.

Nothing good happens fast in a reef tank.

I have been using acropower for a couple months. I have seen a noted improvement in polyp extension and a difference in color. I'd bet if I hadn't gotten aefw again, that color would be much improved. But I digress.

I stopped using it because after 2 weeks of using it I went from cleaning my glass once maybe twice a week to at least twice a day and once I stopped using it I slowly stopped having to clean the glass as much. I well give credit that I went with a full recommended dose from the start maybe I should have slowly ramped up the dose to begin with. Once Everything clears back up I might try to slowly ramp up the dose over a couple weeks maybe a month and see if it makes a difference. I did see that one of my acro frags that had good PE when I first got it was starting to have good PE again after using AP.

Sorry to read that it isn't working for some ppl.
Maybe take some time out to find the balance of your system and reduce the dosing a bit.
I took a test on my newly setup frag grow-out system and start dosing the recommended dose per gallon on the bottle and yes I had some build up that I had to clean every day.
Reduced it with 75% and after a few days it cleared up.
As we speak I dose only 50% of recommended dose and do it on a weekly schedule.
No build up, Yes on PE, color is somewhat coming back slowly.
Not dosing only AP but ad to that potassium and a mix of reef chilly with oyster feast and selcon.

On a side note, I believe that I did nothing wrong to post my experience from this product used in my system on the forum.
If this product isn't working for you maybe something else on your system isn't right or you rushing it.
It took me 4 weeks before I reached the right dosing formula for my system.
Friends with the inventor............. as in friend friends........... NO!
IMO we are all friends of this hobby on this forum.

As always "if you think you going slow..... slow down even more!"
It's not a race to have the best reef/coral tank but the best experience getting there!

My colors were already good and my polyps were already out. How were your corals before using it? Maybe it will help with poorly colored ones
