Not sure why, but I got a pretty good drop in alkalinity with this. You may want to keep an eye on your alk, maybe all that nutrition is being rapidly absorbed and the alK and Calcium get utilized in that process.
I am enjoying following along. I have added this about 2 weeks ago out of curiosity and I like the hype. Although it is fun to hear about dramatic color improvement and polyp extension, I retain my healthy skepticism. SPS never do anything good quickly. Dramatic color improvement in days or weeks, seems unlikely at best and perhaps wishful thinking. Not suggesting that this product works or does not work, just skeptical about rapid color or growth improvement. But heck, one never knows. Plus when has something in reefing been hyped that has not turned out to be true. Right. I believe someone described it as crack for coral and that is indeed a pretty powerful comment (although I do not prefer illicit drug analogies, I think I understand the metaphor)
Sharing information is what makes this forum so valuable. Hopefully, whenever the dust settles regarding this product, we will have a better understanding and be more knowledgable.
