My colors are looking really good after dosing 2.5ml daily in the morning for three weeks in my 100g (~110g total water volume). I understand that the feedback in this thread is not "scientific" by a long shot but I for one am becoming a believer. Oh and no cyano or increased phosphates observed. Will keep an eye on Alk after reading several are seeing it drop while dosing AP.

I finally made it to my LFS and remembered to buy some acro power. After seeing so many positive reviews I figure it really cant hurt to try it. Hopefully I can get some polyp extension out of my more finicky corals.

How many ml a day should I add to a 340 gallon SPS dominated system?
I started with 11 ml today just to get started.
 
Never mind................ I looked into the thread and followed a few people's lead along with the bottles recommended dose. I'll be dosing 10 ml a day on my reef. Following Diesels lead, I'll start at 5 ml a day and work up to 10.

Can you please elaborate a bit more on this?

For example:

1. Which corals are looking better? SPS? LPS?

2. When you say "looking really good", have SPS colours
a. Deepened/intensified?
b. Or brown SPS have coloured up?
c. Pale SPS have coloured up?

Lastly, what are your current PO4 and NO3 levels? Thanks. :)

Why not dose together?
As in a %!
I had ZEO (in many hobbyist eyes the ultimate method of SPS dosing)
Again I had awesome results with ZEO but Coral Crack blew my mind.
Don't know how much you dose on the brightwell but say 6ml a day, why not dose 5ml a day and dose 1ml AP a day for the first week.
Second week 4 on the brightwell and 2 on AP, etc
Till you be down to only 2ml on brightwell do that for two weeks and stop it after that as you continue completely on AP.

I noticed a slow down in growth on ZOA's not sure why but I think that works well for me cause slowly I'm trying to kill my zoas in the tank any way.
I'm starting to hate these things, LOL.
Maybe this is long term effect from AP, and AP will maybe work long term on stony corals.
My LPS are fine, Yellow Hammers, Ultra Golden wall and my Diamond tip are all doing great so far.
I have no Chalices, had a few nice high $$$ but gave them away.
My Ricordea garden is doing insane, the colors are out of this world.

Still a slightly drop in ALK but I think have that under control now.
Growth on the SPS is still the same but I see that only as a positive happening, as I started this tank with only small 1" sticks or less, most of them turned into small to medium colonies in a little as over a year.

MAG @ 1420
PO4 @ 0.04
K @ 395
PH morning 8.05 give and take but never below 8, in the late day time at around 5pm I see my highest level at around 8.15
Not checking for Nitrate or Ammonia I can bet10 franklins that is at bay.

I'm going now 16 weeks strong on this Coral Crack and I just wish I found it a year sooner.
Keep it coming guys, I know some didn't post in a while but please do good or bad.
Ppl on here are not to criticize, some are none believers other thinking just that it's a hype.
I had my thoughts too but I'm glad it turned only for the good, still I think it's early in process but as what I see and hear from you guys, nothing than positive.
Post as much experience you see with using this product cause we all learn from it.
Maybe in the future we have our own page on R2R, "Coral Crack tanks" LOL!

I've been dosing 5 ML per day on my 180 for a month.

The anemone is larger (by 33%) than it had been in the past
All my coral (LPS, SPS) are growing faster, further extended, and showing better color.

Day one and two

Last night, after only one dose of acro power. I had polyp extension after lights out on a few coral that I have never seen before. The corals that normally extend an 1/8" on the growth tips were extending 1/4".

This morning I've dosed again already and can tell a difference in polyp extension on certain corals already.
 
Do you guys dose verbatim of what the bottle says or do you dose a little bit more?

I'm still dosing one cap-full, which is 5mL on the 500mL bottle, per day on my 150g volume system. Still seeing continued PE, good colors and increased growth (will try to take more comparison pictures this week); however, I've noticed a bit of diatom/cyano on the sandbed. I have to say though, that I don't think that the nuisance algae is related to the AP -- I think it's directly tied to me running half of my regular amount of GFO and a clam dying and I suspect it will clean up with a WC and a carbon/gfo swap.

As Ben recommended, I picked up a potassium test kit two weeks ago and I've been running things at these numbers (except for a mini-alk drop on Saturday when the doser was accidentally turned off for 24-hrs).

Alk: 8.2 (was 7.2 yesterday and manually brought it up)
Cal: 430
Mg: 1480
K+: 390
pH: 8.2-8.4 (day-night)
Temp: 77.0-77.5

Phosphates were at 0.06ppm and Nitrates were at 0.85ppm yesterday before the GFO/carbon swap. Will be performing 20% WC tonight to get things back in order.

Not sure you have your MAG always up a bit, some ppl do it to prevent HA.
I'm trying to raise my PO4 a bit in the range of 0.1 or so.
Now I'm 0.07 just a min ago.
With more PE it's ok to raise it a little, seems like they asking for food, LOL!

You're right on the money with the Mg. I raised it several months ago to 1800 to take care of some bryopsis. It's taken a very long time for it to get back south of 1500. Actually, it's taking so long that I'm considering getting a back-up Mg test kit to make sure that the measurement is accurate. I know that Mg can bind up in rock and release over time, but still seems like it's taking a long time.

OK, this has me confused...

Most people are trying to lower their PO4 to less than 0.03ppm because EVERYONE has been saying for years that PO4 above 0.03ppm cause SPS to brown out...

So why would you want to raise your PO4 to 0.1ppm? Wouldnt that cause your acros to brown out? What am I missing here?

there is a current trend away from sterile water and ultra low n&p.. people are noticing better coral color and growth with increased nutrients.

There is a thread on rc about 30 pages long called guess my p04 in the sps section

High p04 readings are not as bad as everyone makes them out to seem

There are people on that thread with insane mature reefs with p04 readings above .1.

Who came up with this magic number of .04 ? In my own tank I have had levels creep up to .1 with no difference in color or algae growth

Is the .04 level another number to chase?
