Is there a consensus on whether to dose small amounts daily or one large weekly dose?

I know above Reefpets said he sees a better response when he dose one large doseage a week if I read correctly but I am not sure if he did that in an LPS or SPS dominated tank. I dose daily in my SPS dominated reef tank and so far so good.

How do we raise our phosphates and maintain them at an acceptable level?

What test are you using for K and what do you supplement with?

Have you guys been monitoring your nitrates? Anyone else see an increase from dosing? I know the contents are proprietary but I'm thinking sodium nitrate is involved here???

I've seen more growth than before. My Shades of Fall started growing multiple heads, my ORA SSC colored up like crazy. Overall now when I add a new sps coral, it opens up instantly. I saw instant polyp extension this past Saturday when I added a Rommel's Watermelon frag. Kudos to Julian Sprungs creation. Will take some pics when I get off work. I did not do a photo log but will soon.

I'm not convinced it's necessary for PO4 to be elevated. I'm still maintaing something in the 0.05 area.

The Salifert Potassium kit, as mentioned, is really the only potassium kit that's worth a darn. Brightwell makes a simplistic (in composition) powder and liquid for potassium supplementation.

No change here; I tend to think not.

Thanks, I read that but it seems most people are dosing daily. Anybody else dosing once a week?

I'm certainly not willing to dump in a gallon to find out. :)

Probably, but at what extent?

Can this stuff be OD?

That's a good question!
If dose too much what is the effect........... if any?

Than again, why would you OD?
We all know that in this hobby you better start out less, right?
Better safe than sorry.

On the question if you dose daily or weekly not sure if that makes any difference.
I have a small frag tank going will, try it on that for a month or so.
The frags in there coming out my DT on a daily dose, will see what the effect is when we go weekly.

I started with this product about two months ago, within the first month I notice brighter colors and polyp extension. I did the once a week dose at night for the first month, then I change to daily dosing because I read an article in Advance Aquarist that SPS absorb aminos during day light. I've been doing daily dosing for a month now and I have not notice any difference form the once a week night dose. My SPS look good, color is good, polyp extension is good, growth is average, nothing crazy, and my parameters are as follow, Alk-9.0 PH-8.0 PO4-0 PO3-0 Mag-1320 Cal-460. I don't really know what would happen if I stop dosing Acropower but I can tell you I'm not about to find out any time soon. I think the product works and as long as my reef is happy I'm happy.

I dose once a week but may switch out the magnesium from my doser for the acropower. Thus making mag dosed omce weekly amd acropower daily.

Hey Diesel, I might have missed this but are you dosing directly to the DT or in the sump
