That is one thing i done see, i seem to have great growth compair to others, and good color but my sweepers are small like 1/2 to a inch long.

it doesn't usually show it for me but when it does, whammo anything near it that's not a favia is busted even paly's.

Feed that sucker. I had mine up to 15-18 polyps from the original one before fragging it back down to 1. Another factor some folks might be challegned by is the growing substrate. Like many of the other favias, it likes to grow on a horizontal surface and sort of plate out....it puts down a much thinner skeleton and can therefore put more energy into. Making it grow a full skeleton takes a lot longer and you tend to get a coral boulder effect. That is with its heads growing down the sides and a spherical shape. Hard to frag when its like that and it takes a lot longer to grow as well.

A cool coral nevertheless....the original pics of it were majorly tweaked IMO, not just a simple white balance or contrast change but either hyper actinic or photochopped. It looked like this in my tank (about 8 months before fragging) under radiums:

i think its a favia because its tentacles are like 2-3 inches long.. its a bad girl so its alone in the corner of the tank where it cant sting anyone.. i have never had any chalice with tenticles that long.

MY Light Brite Chalice has sweepers bout 2.5 in east its crazy at night :D I feed it every night an And grows well
