Made the mistake of not doing a water change before doing my first dose of prazipro.

I know that the prazipro is only in the water column for 72 hours but if I want to do some siphon of the poop/detritus on the bottom of the qt tank will I need to redose in the water change?

My qt setup is a 10 gallon so i dosed 1/2 teaspoon of prazipro yesterday.. my ammonia badge is saying safe and fish look fine for now but i would like to suck up some of that poop if possible.

I use a section of 1/4” acrylic tubing to syphon my DTs. Standard airline tubing fits inside a short 2-3” section of flexible 1/4” tubing you can find at any of the big box stores. Avoids wood splinters. ;)
