Praziquantel use

And redose? Or redose a few days later?
You should do a 25% water change around 1 week after the first dose, and then dose again when the water change is done.

It may be that the insertion spots became infected? If it wasn't a strong feeder anyway, that wouldn't have been very confusive to a recovery :(

The others are doing alright, though after feeding tonight their breathing became very heavy, so I did a 30%wc.
Here are some photos of the Waspfish to see if anything stands out. One gill seemed rather off compared to the other.

I didn't quite understand the second half of that :S

Seeing as I already have this post, would any of you gurus be able to figure out what is wrong with my toby?
This has come on overnight. The only difference I can think of is that I fed some blackworms last night with their normal food.
Where a normal fish's dorsal would be is sunken, there are patches all over the back and on the top of his head it has an off coloured bump that looks like a scab.
Still acting normally and eating fine.
None of the other fish seem affected.
Also my misc scorpion is an oddly white colour. I'll attach a photo of it normally and currently, I think it may be due to the meal it ate last night though.

Looking at the toby, something is whispering "bacterial" to me - but I'm not one of the gurus (yet, I'm working on it!), so hope they pop in to confirm or deny . . .

~Bruce, who hasn't a clue why the scorpion might have faded to that color

Thanks! And also ahahahahaha! My first reaction was bacterial, but the more I look at it the more I think something more serious might be at work

Also from what it ate it shouldn't have this big of a belly.

The "scab" part on the Toby has started to peel off :S

I agree, it looks bacterial to me as well. Perhaps the "scab" was an injury? Are the other blotches still there? Have any more white spots appeared. Any other symptoms?

Did the thing that peeled off look like an actual scab or could it have been a parasite like a large flat worm? You said this happened over-night?

Possibly, though it didn't seem to have broken the skin. The blotches went away, though the sunken "dorsal area" stayed.

That seems possible, I have never seen anything like that in my tank before (of course it always starts like that though aha) if it was a parasite would my cleaner wrasse have been trying to eat it? Because it showed no interest either way [emoji14]

No, but a freshwater dip might be illuminating.
