My petsmart had them for $12. And I like that it has an enrichment solution. I DO HATE MIXING WATER!!! Ha.

I too dislike mixing water!!
I am also always afraid that parimaters are going to be off....I actually saw this at PetSmart today for $12 dollars and purchased all 6 boxes that they had! I normally pay $26 for it at my LFS!

All the stuff Petsmart sells is good in a pinch, but not for long term. That water is nowhere near what Reef Crystals or A Red Sea or Tropic Marin provides in regards to calcium, trace elements, etc. Get over the hump OP and make your own water..way cheaper too.. A bag of Reef Crystal's is like $18.00 on Amazon and it makes 50 gallons. That with an RODI system.

When I started my nano I used the petco real ocean water, 5g 11.99, sweet! That is over a month of water changes.... I decided to check my DKH after a month. 17! What the Heck! Apparently they use some buffers in there to keep it stable. Ended that good time.
What do they say? "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."

The water might be great too. Their understanding of their own water, however, needs serious improvement.

There are numerous issues, but the most obvious one to most reefers would be:

Chloride 29,055.000 ppm
Sodium 16,155.000 ppm
Magnesium 2,085.000 ppm

From those three ions alone, the salinity is over 47 ppt (sg ~ 1.036).

Then they have the audacity to claim:

"The salinity level of this product is natural (untouched) from the ocean."

It's saying a lot, but this ranks right up their with the all time high idiotic claims by reefing vendors.

i remember when the guys from "Tanked" went from mixing salt and tapwater and throwing the fish in 5 minutes later to only using Nutrisea to fill their ridiculous tanks...must have been quite a sponsorship deal...
