Awesome thanks! I was confused with what you meant by “the other vertically to the top of your tank” thinking you meant the DT but a bother post after this with pictures showed the idea. I may buy the vase I shared if I don’t find anything better

So it feeds into the return section of the sump from the back of the tank. I avoided a siphon by having the ato pour into a larger diameter tube opening above the water level of the vase and directing right into my return chamber.
