Pretty sure its Ich, can someone help confirm?

I had to start QT with the Powder Blue this evening, he started looking pretty rough but he was eating still. The Yellow Tang was giving him a hard time, it's like my Yellow can tell when the PB isn't feeling great.
I started with Coopermine since it's more gentle, I did a 1.5ppm dose to start with so as not to overwhelm him.
Advice is greatly appreciated as usual and other than that, we will move forward and I'll keep my fingers crossed that he feels better sooner rather than later. I'm confident he will pull through, I just want to do everything I can to keep him comfortable while I medicate him as he heals.

Ok, just didn't want to overdose the tangs, I've heard they are very sensitive to copper. That worried me. I'll get it to 2.0 today and see how they do, then shoot for 2.25 tomorrow if everything looks good with them.

I'm having a very difficult time getting the copper over 1.75. I've added more, how long should I wait to test levels after adding coppersafe? Just seems like the needle should be moving a bit more.
Just so you know, I added Microbacter 7 when I set the QT up, also soaked filter pad in Microbacter 7 as per a suggestion and added that to my HOB (it has nothing else in the HOB, just the filter pad) and I have a bubbler (I'll attach a picture. Could these items be soaking up the copper and making it harder to increase my dosage?

Yes- at least 2. Jay uses copper safe more than I do, and that advice is trustworthy

If there is decent water flow in the tank, it should mix within minutes. However, I always tell people to wait a couple of hours just in case there is some reaction time that I'm unaware of....copper and calcium in the water can do some strange things.

Are you confident that you are dosing for the correct volume of water? The simple formula is: tank length in inches, times width, times water depth...divide that by 231 to get gallons.

Yeah, I've got about 7 .5 gallons since the tank isn't full...that way water coming from my HOB helps to aerate the water.
