The same as for NP Pro, correct? This begs the question why are there two carbon solutions in the Aquaforest line, both to be paired with Pro Bio S? What is the difference between Pro F and NP Pro? When should we use one instead of the other?
I have been using NP Pro and Pro Bio S for three weeks now and I am happy with the reduction in nitrates. I'm interested in the Pro F, but don't understand how it is different than the NP Pro.
We wrote that before:
Pro F - that's culture medium for Probiotic Bacteria. It comprises monosaccharides , disaccharides , polysaccharides and ethanol.
-NP Pro - that's liquid polymers - carbon source for feed Pro Bio S.
Pro Bio F - Probiotic Bacteria and culture medium for them ( in dry form)
Pro F was organic source of carbon and the risk that it's feed the "bed bacteria" (cyan, dino) in not mature tanks was higher.
-Np Pro it is syntetic special carbon source that feed only our probiotic bacteria without feeding bed ones. It is more efficient as well (better PO4 and NO3 absorption).
