Water testing tops my list as well as keeping up with carbon changing.

Everything?
I don't even have that many cables, but I have a power strip chilling directly behind the top of one of my tanks.... And I refuse to buy snails that can't flip themselves over because my crabs always end up eating them before I get to them :/

wiring for me but it has only been a year.

I was an aquarium tech for a petstore, so I know the importance of keeping up with maintenance if the tank and animals are to be at their best for the long haul.

I also know making those chores as easy as possible goes a long way. My WC system is as easy as unhook the drain hose and put it in the drain bucket until 7 gallons is emptied. Then take the fill hose in premade salt water and fill sump back up. BTW, all this is in the basement in a fish room where everything can remain in place ready to use at any time without prep time.

Procrastinating Reefers are the worst and I am one of them! A little click bait title to get you in here and posting! :p So while you are here why not engage with a comment and make sure you don't procrastinate!

I'll start off by saying that I am the worst when it comes to certain "reefing tasks." For me I'm the worst at managing my equipment wires, turning snails over and general cleanup tasks! Right now though the main thing is the wiring to and from my controller!! AHHH!!!!

What about you? What do you procrastinate in doing when it comes to your saltwater reef aquarium?

I really need to get my wires looking nice like @mknightryder has here!

I procrastinate my water changes I'm not proud of it and my only excuse is that it's very difficult to do with only 1 good hand right now. Hopefully, things will get a little bit easier after I adjust to this most recent surgery. If not, I'll probably be horrible about water changes until my hand is fixed or until I am able to talk someone into helping me.

I've been working on mine currently as well.

If you're ever in my area I'll trade frags for wire management. You name it, reef raft, jason fox, gem acans, whatever. Just let me know lol! :D

My procrastination comes through depression! Every once in a while I get inundated with negative crap. Once in there it’s so hard to function so I do the bare minimum and the tank gets neglected. Currently working on a vice!!

it's hard always wanting new corals and fish and not taking the time to properly care and cherish what you already have.

I think seeing "Tank Pics Of The Month" that shows these world class gorgeous tanks are horrible motivational eye candy.

sorta like your avg American Girl trying her best to look like a European SuperModel looking thru Glamour Magazine..... then having low self esteem

we all have limitations when comparing ourselves to the top 0.5%

I like to think of myself more as being cautious rather than procrastinating ;Shamefullyembarrased. The problem is said caution doesn't always help and I still lose out on new stock and the like. Regardless, I've become much better about keeping maintenance regular and the like, though I always dread scraping algae off the fuge....
