I can touch him and he will move crazy then just go right back to floating could it be air in him or what I don’t understand ammonia 0 nitre

He doesn’t have much time tbh is there anything I cpudl
Do burp him or something sorry he’s just look to have litle time

I would imagine it’s a swim bladder issue. I don’t know too much about puffers but I’m wondering if the stress of transport could have had ill effects on the bladder. Either way I hope he’s in your qt tank and good luck.

Did you compare the salinity in the shipping bag to the salinity in your tank? IF a big difference, could lead to shock.

Also, is it possible he had inflated with air diuring acclimation?

You could use clove oil (heard this might be more painful than previously thought) or cold water to euthanize him, if it looks like he’s in pain. Otherwise hope for the best and maybe he’ll pull through.

it Looks to be swim blader he’s breathing yea I feel like he’s in pain I’ll wait it out though thanks everyone and salinity in bag was 1.025 and I poured my water in his bag for around 30

Dropping from 1.025 to 1.020 is a major change and normally would be done over a day or two to be safe. If he inflated with air, he would float upside down until he deflates

He’s back to normal every one thanks must of had a hard time in the transport cus he’s looking good now

They are susceptible to this during transport in which they get to suck air and it enters the bladder causing temporary bouyancy. Glad to hear it came through.
