Hey I would try removing the pump and re-seating the impeller. Could possibly have something jamming the impeller from spinning.i was doing a water change and turned off the pump while the water was low. when i turned it back on when i was done, it didn’t turn on. i waited an hour and came back to see if it turned on... and no. help!

This is Extremely important:i was doing a water change and turned off the pump while the water was low. when i turned it back on when i was done, it didn’t turn on. i waited an hour and came back to see if it turned on... and no. help!
I have a Sicce 1.0 return pump that is pretty new and is almost impossible to restart after cleaning it too! Even with a citric acid soak.I had a old sicce pump that would do this. Even when I cleaned it and didn’t do it every time. The thing that worked for was grabbing the return hose and raising it up and down bumping it against the sump. Sometimes it just needed a kick start.
