Purple and orange fish?

$700-800 for one fish is a bit too much for my wallet XD

They are expensive, that's for sure!
It seems like it depends on how they hit the light. When I look at mine I don't think it really looks pink. But if it hits the light just right it looks pink. Most of the time it looks like a purplely kinda color. But it really depends.

I have this Pygmy Bassett which is a lovely orange and purple perfect match
That's cool. Can you get me the scientific name? Kind of looks like a pseudochromis (dottyback) to me and that makes me nervous...

Because dottybacks are mean little unmentionables, that's why. >.<;; There will always be individuals that are the exception, but they are far too aggressive for either my taste or the fish I plan to keep.

U have mentioned dottybacks so I just looked them up and found what it is
Here's what I found
The Neon Dottyback, has yellows and reds on the body with blue stripes that run along the top and in the fins.
A 30 gallon or larger aquarium with hiding places should be provided. It should be housed with moderately aggressive larger fish. It may eat ornamental shrimp, but makes an excellent predator of bristle worms in the reef aquarium.
The diet should consist of meaty foods including brine shrimp and prepared frozen foods.

4. Pomacentrus vaiuli (cheap)
5. Pseudanthias lori (Anthias usually are kept in groups and in larger tanks than 55g)
6. Pseudanthias dispar
7. Pseudanthias pleurotaenia
8. Pseudanthias leucozonus
This is the best list I can provide with out digging for something that would prob be wayyyy expensive Good luck

I wonder if you can have someone send you one from Japan...? I don't know how the shipping import process goes but I'm sure they are cheaper straight from the source.

Still far too expensive, lol.
I'm thinking when I can get my 125 set up there would be adequate space for both a coral beauty and a flame angel to get along? Maybe?

Maybe just maybe... I think that like everything although each species has a set temperament there are exceptions to the rules.
I own a few tanks of highly aggressive fish making sure that they have enough space to claim territory is important. I think introducing them into the tank at the same time is a BIG part of being successful! Size matters big time in these cases try making sure they are very similar in size. Lastly I believe keeping them well feed helps.
Either way sometimes it takes more than a single try at it. I have a had fish kill several others in a tank. I exchanged him and tried again. The third time I had success and harmony.
