purple hornet question

Just googled and found these pics, I don't have BH to compare to my PH.

Sorry for the small threadjack.....
Here is a picture that I have with both frags. The blues in the back are bluer polyps and they are quite a bit smaller polyps. I have had them both for almost the same amount of time. Are they the same?
No problem at all man, just trying to get everything figured out. A little upset about picking up something that is not what I thought it was but that is my own fault though. Only problem is that I got them from a very reputable person so I thought that they were the real deal.:squigglemouth:

imo, they are both the same in different lighting/tank conditions. one seems to have been in higher light and the other in lower light. who did you trade with?

Yeah the only thing that I find weird is the size difference. As for who I traded with I am going to keep that to myself until He and I can get something figured out.:crossedlips: I believe that you all are right about the blue hornets though. I will say though that just proves that it is up to the buyer to make sure that he is getting exactly what he thinks he is getting. No matter how credible the person is that you are getting the corals from. Not trying to sound like im complaining but like I said it sucks to get something different than what you thought you were getting.

The only reason I ask who it is because I saw a thread on RC about trading them as Purple Hornets but they were Blue Hornets. The polyp size can differ on the tank and what not.

to some people it doesnt matter, but you always have the right to ask for lineage, even though that can fail at times.

I dont get onto rc. If I were you I would let everyone know that what they are looking at are blue hornets and not purple hornets. Im convinced that what I have is blue hornets though. Thanks guys for all of the help.
Well when You are ready to frag your ph's and your rh's I would deffinately be interested. I have a bunch of stuff to trade. How about some blue Hornets:bigsmile: j/k. For real though let me know
