I shipped frags of the PM all over the place. I never kept records. I know Copps just lost his colony. I have not owned this coral for over 10 years.

What a bummer. I just reached out a few weeks ago for a frag and he didn’t have any at the moment. Hopefully he had a backup.

This is 100% why I give free frags to responsible accomplished reefers. It’s not about the $$, it’s about preserving the rare stuff.

in contrast to many others, the PM looks better and really stands out under 14K or 10K lighting, compared to 20K. That pic was taken under Kessils.

I just got this one as a Tyree Purple Monster. The last two people traded it away because it grew incredibly slow for them. I see white polyps. Under blue, it also has a sheen. I placed it under 425 PAR and using Orphek V4 LED.
