Purple Pinks

Have you guys managed to keep any yellows alive for a long period of time ?

For me I've tried high, med, low and no light. High to low flow. 6 months is about as long as I've been able to keep them.:(

I have managed to keep the zoas for a long period of time, but after a certain time, they became a tint of green. The closest I've came to true yellow zoas are the Raspberry Limeades, but under 20k Radiums they started to turn a tint of green. Hopefully these bad boys will change my luck. =) How about you Rich, whats your take on the topic? Any personal experiences you wish to share?

i bought a colony of yellow palys that were pure yellow and a few weeks later they turned a light green
i REALLY thought i had them too but i too am still looking for true yellow
seems like one of the hardest colors to get
mines under 250w 14k ushio with 75w actinic vho
ive only had them for 2 months

mike, the lone yellow paly polyp you sent me has stayed pretty solid yellow. i'm using similar lighting as yours... hope they don't turn green on me :D

i thought it didnt make it?
wierd thing is there are a couple that are still extremely yellow in the bunch but i would say 95percent are greenish
lol that one lone polyp that i thought didnt make it was supposed to be my only casualty this summer using no ice packs in shipping, but now that you said theyre alive i had ZERO DOAs!!!
yay now im happy :D

loll whichever lone polyp you gave me on a square tile didn't make it, but shhh i won't tell anyone :D
