I did
Didn't say everyone else's suggestions were dumb but I would say suggesting someone add glue to the outside of a leaking fitting is setting them up for failureI didn't see the need to crack about how dumb everyone else's suggestions were.

.Obviously it's solvent. That's why it goes on the inside of the fittingI'm glad you were amused. First of all, it's not glue .... it's solvent .... a completely different animal. An elusive concept perhaps. Second, I think novice reefers tend to over-react to things and resort to unnecessary fixes. If the OP wants to replace the PVC, have at it; but it's unnecessary. Folks that have been in this hobby for as long as I have would know this.
There are various ring sizes you can by at HD for the different pipe sizes. You push it up against the leak and glue it. Voila!I just got my 125 plumbed and transferred over all live stock. After running a couple hours I noticed some water at one of the joints. It's about a drip every 10 seconds. Is there anyway to seal it with out cutting it apart? I've been searching, but most threads seem to be leaking more than mine. I have a towel under it currently so it doesn't run down the concrete. After 8 hrs the towel was wet, but not soaked.
Turned on my pump to water test new tank and have the same issue. This one drips at the joint between an elbow and a tee fitting so I can’t really take it apart. It’s dripping about 1 drip every minute or so which I would think is extremely slow. On top of this the leak is right over the sump so no harm to the floor or stand. Should I let it self seal?
