Pygmy angel in 20 gallon

Could I keep a Pygmy angel in a 20 gallon ?

Nope. Even though they are small they need room to roam and graze. I would suggest min of 50 and lean more towards a 70.

I have a potters in my 10 gallon. it's a baby and it does not seem to mind and is very happy. as long as the angel is small you will be fine. but you will have to upgrade at some point when it grows.

Fish size in saltwater does not equate to tank size like it does in freshwater. A cardinal can be kept in a 20 because it doesnt swim much it prefers to stay in one place. Angels and tangs however swim a lot and travel pong distances in one day. Which is why keeping something such as a hippo tang even a baby in a 20 wont work but a cardinal would. A potters in a 10 is just wrong even if it is a baby. I agree with the others on here the tank is too small for a pygmy.

I agree, they travel huge distances in just a 24 hour period

Yeah thats what i was getting at I just didnt want to sound too harsh. If you think about it its just like you said. Stay in a 10foot by 2 foot space its quite small, and thats without rock. A 10 gallon with rock and sand becomes very very cramped. I dont even know if I would ever even put a fish in a 10 gallon, just a shrimp.

I will give you credit, you asked before just buying like some do. If you want more fish in a tank you have some options.

1) Buy a larger tank for saltwater, suggest 70 - 100 gallons
2) Convert your salt to fresh and buy some schooling fish
3) Be content with a couple of Gobies.

You may ask, well wait you have a 30 gallon. True, but I only have a pair of Yasha gobies, lawnmower blenny and diamond watchman goby. Am I content? Nope. It will have to do for now! Beside I am in a nasty battle with Dino's and this might be it.

Not being mean but that is just sad . You clearly need to to more reasesrch on fish before you buy them .

Ok i have a feeling this will get nasty fast so can we please ignore the issue with the 10 gallon. @reeflover_3303 what cardinals are you thinking of? Divers den usually has some really nice bonded pairs of some more uncommon species
