If your gonna get thr pajamas just make sure their a pair or are male/female. Cardinals can get aggressive with eachother sometimes when they arent housed as a pair.

I disagree, 2 cardinals and 2 clowns may be pushing it but just two clowns? A 20 is definetly enough unless your keeping maroons or tomatoes/clarks.

"It doesn't seem to mind and is happy". Seriously, did you ask it? If wild caught fish had any sort of memory, I don't think any of them would be truly "happy".

The fishes have memory. They learn their place in the pecking order within a day or two. They find their hiding places too after a few days. They will not spawn in a new tank before they feel at home. They learn wich time of the day they can expect food. They see the difference between You with the food and other persons.
Thats the most usual ways to see that the fishes have memory but if You are interested in Your fishes and their behavor You will see more.
