There is no reason to lose your fish.

Its not the perfect filter - but it will do the job.

How did I get involved in this thread? I don't know anything about coppersafe, old filter pads, baby dolphins, flukes, flounders, Mississippi river systems, dunking tropical fish into cold fresh water to see if the bull shark eats them, corroded diatom filters etc.
My fish are not allowed to get ich, velvet, suede, velour, social diseases or anything else and I don't have to quarantine. I do something else.
